The Second Book Group meets once a month on the third Sunday of each month to discuss both fiction and non-fiction books which members of the group have suggested. The group meets via Zoom for most months but a couple times a year meets in person at the church. The discussions begin at 9:30 am. One of the members of the group serves as host each meeting and one serves as discussion leader, frequently the person who suggested the book of the month. Books are selected well in advance so that readers have an opportunity to obtain the book. The group is very diverse which adds to the breadth of its discussions.
